What an all-inclusive Houston venue package really costs
People search this expecting a number and get a contact form. So here is the number, the honest version of what “all-inclusive” covers, and a straight answer on whether a $5,000 ceiling is realistic in Houston.

First, what the phrase actually means
“All-inclusive” means different things at different venues, and the difference is worth thousands.
At a hotel it usually means food and room, priced per head, with everything else extra. At an independent venue it usually means room and everything that lives in the building — tables, chairs, linens, bar, staff — with catering left to you. The second kind is almost always cheaper for the same evening, because you are not paying a margin on the food.
The Hendrix is the second kind. What is included, on every booking:
- Banquet tables and Chiavari chairs, set and cleared
- Linens
- A bar on each floor
- 1,000 sq ft prep kitchen for your caterer
- On-site concierge for the whole booking
- Bride’s and groom’s suites
- Free guest parking
- Step-free ground-floor access
The numbers
The Mansion runs from $2,500 for a Monday-to-Thursday daytime booking up to $6,000 for a Saturday or Sunday full-day Premium package. The Dome is a flat rate on any day of the week: $1,200 daytime, $1,500 evening, $2,000 full day.
Then the additions, which every venue has and few publish:
Cleaning fee
$350 in the Mansion, $200 in the Dome. Charged once, not per hour.
Security fee
$300 for professional security. Not automatic — it applies to evening events and to events where alcohol is served. Ask us if neither applies to yours.
Refundable deposit
$500 for the Mansion, $350 for the Dome. Returned after the event.
Additional hours
$350 an hour in the Mansion, $200 in the Dome, if you run past your slot.
There is no catering markup, no bar minimum, no corkage and no service charge on your own suppliers.
Is a $5,000 all-in wedding realistic in Houston?
This is the question behind the search, so here is the honest answer: yes, but only on a weekday and only for a smaller guest list.
A worked example, 80 guests, weekday, in the Dome:
- Dome, full day — $2,000
- Cleaning — $200
- Security — $300
- Catering at $25 a head — $2,000
- Running total — $4,500
That leaves roughly $500 for florals, cake and a DJ, which is tight but not impossible if friends and family carry some of it. Push the same event to a Saturday in the Mansion for 200 guests and you are at $3,500 for the room before a single plate of food. The lever is not the venue. It is the day and the head count.
Anyone quoting $5,000 all-in for 200 guests on a Saturday is either not counting the catering or is about to.

The part most people actually want: everything else
Almost nobody who searches for an all-inclusive package is only thinking about the room. What they are really asking is: how much of this can somebody else carry?
The room is the part venues publish. The rest — the food, the flowers, the cake, the bar, the tableware — is where the evening is actually won or lost, and where a family with jobs and children ends up doing eleven separate negotiations with eleven separate suppliers.
So alongside the room, The Hendrix can bundle in as much or as little of the following as you want, on an à la carte basis:
Catering
Full service for your guest count, or a kitchen for the caterer you already have. Your choice, and it stays your choice — there is still no approved list and no markup if you bring your own.
Decoration and styling
Backdrops, floral installations, draping, uplighting, the monogram floor, table styling. From a simple dress-up to a full build against the wall.
Cakes and confectionery
Celebration cakes, dessert tables, small chops and grazing displays, sized to the event rather than to a standard menu.
Drinks service
Bar service with a TABC-certified bartender, glassware and the bar on each floor. Or bring your own bottles and we staff it.
Upgraded tableware
Chargers, china, cutlery, glassware, napkins and linens beyond the standard set, so the tables photograph the way you pictured them.
The rest of the run sheet
DJ and sound, photography and video, MC, photo booth, security, coordination on the day. If it belongs in the evening, ask.
Or hand us the whole thing
At the top of the range is a white-glove booking, where you worry about nothing and we handle everything — room, food, styling, cake, bar, tableware, suppliers, timings and the day itself. You turn up to your own event as a guest.
Because we are buying the whole package rather than selling you a room and leaving you to assemble the rest, this is routinely the point where the number surprises people. A venue that does not offer it has to be compared against six or seven separate invoices; a set of standalone suppliers has no room to move on any of them. We usually have quite a lot of room to move.
We do not publish those figures, because they genuinely depend on the event. A 60-guest weekday shower and a 300-guest Saturday wedding are not the same conversation, and quoting a range would mislead both. What we will do is build the number with you honestly, itemised, so you can see exactly what you are paying for and drop anything you would rather do yourself.

Three ways people overspend
Buying a Saturday they did not need
A Friday evening costs less and almost nobody declines. A Thursday costs less again. The guest list rarely notices; the budget always does.
Paying a markup on food
A 20% catering margin on a $6,000 food bill is $1,200 — roughly the entire cost of the Dome. Venues that allow outside catering hand that back to you.
Renting what is already in the room
Chairs, tables and linens get rented in by default because the venue never said they were included. Ask before you sign a rental order.
Build your own number
Rather than quote you a range, the all-inclusive packages page has a calculator: pick the room, the day, the slot and the package, and it shows the total with every fee already in it. Every figure in it matches the pricing page. Nothing is estimated.
Pricing questions
What does an all-inclusive venue package include?
At The Hendrix it covers the room, banquet tables and Chiavari chairs, linens, a bar on each floor, the prep kitchen, an on-site concierge, both suites and free parking. Catering is left to you so there is no markup on your food bill.
How much is an all-inclusive package near Houston?
The Mansion runs from $2,500 for a Monday-to-Thursday daytime Basic booking up to $6,000 for a Saturday or Sunday full-day Premium booking. The Dome is a flat rate on any day: $1,200 daytime, $1,500 evening, $2,000 full day.
Can you have a wedding in Houston for $5,000 all in?
Yes, on a weekday and with a smaller guest list. Eighty guests in the Dome for a full day is $2,000, plus $200 cleaning and, for an evening reception, $300 security, leaving roughly $2,500 for catering and everything else. The same event on a Saturday for 200 guests is not realistic at that budget.
Can The Hendrix arrange catering, decor and everything else?
Yes, on an a la carte basis. Catering, decoration and floral installations, cakes and dessert tables, bar service with a certified bartender, upgraded chargers, china, cutlery and linens, plus DJ, photography, MC, photo booth and day coordination. Take all of it, some of it, or none of it.
Do you offer a full white-glove package?
Yes. At the top of the range we handle everything – room, food, styling, cake, bar, tableware, suppliers and the running of the day – so you attend your own event as a guest. Pricing is not published because it depends entirely on guest count, day and what you include, so we build it with you itemised.
What are the additional fees at The Hendrix?
A cleaning fee of $350 in the Mansion or $200 in the Dome, a refundable deposit of $500 or $350, and a $300 security fee where alcohol is served or the event runs into the evening returned after the event. Additional hours are $350 in the Mansion and $200 in the Dome.
Is there a catering markup or bar minimum?
No. There is no catering markup, no bar minimum, no corkage and no service charge on your own suppliers. BYOB is permitted with a TABC-certified bartender.
Can I see the total price before I enquire?
Yes. The all-inclusive packages page has a calculator: choose the room, day, slot and package and it shows the total with every fee included. Every figure matches the pricing page and nothing is estimated.
