Stafford · Minutes from Sugar Land
Ask her somewhere she will want to show people.
A private room, a draped backdrop, candlelight and a photographer who is not a stranger with a phone.
From $1,200 · Two hours is usually enough · Free parking
A restaurant will not hold the moment
Proposals get planned for months and then happen in four minutes, usually somewhere with other people’s conversations in the background and a waiter arriving at the wrong second.
Book the room instead. Only one event runs in the building at a time, so for those two hours the whole floor is yours — the drape, the candles, the neon, and nobody wandering through the shot.
Bring your own decorator and photographer. No approved supplier list. If you want dinner afterwards, bring your own caterer too.

What the room gives you
- Complete privacy
- Height for a full drape
- Your own decorator
- The 3D video wall
- Set-up and break-down
- Free parking at the door
How people usually run it
The short version
A daytime Dome booking is two to three hours and starts at $1,200. Decorator sets up in the morning, you arrive, it happens, everyone goes to dinner.
The version with everyone
Some families keep the room and turn it into an engagement party the same evening — same booking, catering brought in, no second venue to organise.
Then the wedding
Couples who propose here often come back. Ask us to note the date; we will hold the anniversary weekend while you decide. See weddings

Proposal questions
Where can I propose in the Houston area?
The Hendrix in Stafford hires either of its private rooms for proposals. The Dome starts at $1,200 for a daytime booking and is the same price on any day of the week. Only one event runs in the building at a time, so the room is completely private.
How long do I need to book for a proposal?
Most proposals take a two-to-three-hour daytime booking, which allows time for your decorator to set up before you arrive. If you want to turn it into an engagement party the same evening, book the full day.
Can I bring my own decorator and photographer?
Yes. There is no approved supplier list. Bring your own decorator, photographer, florist and, if you are staying on for dinner, your own caterer at no markup.
Can we keep it a surprise?
Yes. Tell us it is a surprise when you book and we will keep the booking off any public calendar and brief the on-site team accordingly.
What does it cost?
The Dome starts at $1,200 for a 9am to 3pm daytime booking. The Mansion starts at $2,500 if you are planning a proposal and party together. A refundable $500 security deposit applies.
