The catering question, answered first
Most venues will tell you they can “accommodate” vegetarian food, which usually means one tray beside the chicken. That is not the same as a kitchen that understands what vegetarian means to your family, or one that is genuinely halal, or one that can cook Jain.
So we do not ask you to use ours. Bring the caterer your community already trusts. There is no approved-supplier list, we take no percentage of your food bill, and a 1,000 sq ft prep kitchen comes with the room.
Frying and open cooking happen outdoors, in the area behind the kitchen, with prior approval — useful for live chaat or dosa stations. Tell us at booking and we will set the space aside.

Across more than one day
Mehndi, sangeet, ceremony and reception rarely fit in a single evening. Because only one event runs in the building at a time, each day you book is entirely yours.

The Dome upstairs suits 80 or fewer, has its own large marble bar and its own washroom, and costs the same on a Thursday as a Saturday — from $1,200.

The Mansion downstairs seats 300 and holds 350 standing across 9,930 sq ft, with the prep kitchen and both getting-ready suites on the same floor.
Booking consecutive days
Weekdays are usually open, which makes a Thursday mehndi and a Saturday reception straightforward. Ask us to hold both dates together.

Two things worth raising at the enquiry rather than the week before, so nobody is negotiating on the day.
A sacred fire
If your ceremony includes an agni or havan, tell us when you enquire. Indoor open flame is restricted, so this needs arranging in advance rather than assuming.
The baraat
The parking lot is large, on site and well lit. If you are planning a procession, with or without a horse, raise it early and we will work out the route with you.
The bar
BYOB is permitted, served by a TABC-certified bartender. If you are running a dry wedding, that is simpler still.

Is there an Indian wedding venue near Houston that allows outside catering?
