Two private rooms, twenty minutes from downtown Houston
The Hendrix sits at 1250 Texas Parkway in Stafford, a short drive from most of the funeral homes and churches in the southwest Houston corridor. The Mansion holds up to 300 seated. The Dome suits a family-only gathering of eighty or fewer. Both come with your own caterer welcome, a prep kitchen, free parking at the door, and an on-site concierge for the day.

Questions families ask
Can we hold a repast or celebration of life at The Hendrix?
Yes. The Hendrix hosts repasts, memorial receptions and celebrations of life in either of its two private rooms — the Dome for up to 80 guests, or the Mansion for up to 300 seated. The two rooms are never booked at the same time, so the building is yours.
Can we bring our own caterer for a repast?
Yes. There is no approved caterer list and no catering markup at The Hendrix. You may use any licensed caterer, and a 1,000 sq ft prep kitchen is available for them to work from.
How much does a celebration of life venue cost in the Houston area?
At The Hendrix, the Dome starts at $1,200 and is the same price every day of the week. The Mansion starts at $2,500. Both include tables, chairs, set-up and free on-site parking.
Do you have weekday availability on short notice?
Usually yes. Funeral services most often fall Tuesday through Friday, and those are the days both rooms are most likely to be free. Call (281) 801-5211 and we will tell you plainly whether a date can be held.
Where is the venue and is parking free?
The Hendrix is at 1250 Texas Pkwy, Stafford, TX 77477, about 20 minutes from downtown Houston and minutes from Sugar Land. On-site parking is free for every guest.
Can a funeral director book on behalf of a family?
Yes. We can hold a provisional date over the phone and confirm in writing the same day. We do not pay or accept referral commissions — the price the family is quoted is the price.
