Corporate event venues in southwest Houston

If your people work in the Energy Corridor, Sugar Land, Missouri City or along the Southwest Freeway, booking downtown means asking two hundred of them to sit in traffic and then pay to park. There is a better answer twenty minutes out.

Seated for an awards dinner. Three hundred at round tables with a stage end and a dance floor still free.

The commute maths nobody runs

Two hundred people, forty minutes each way into downtown at 5pm, is roughly 270 hours of your team’s evening spent in a car. Add $25 a head for parking and you have spent $5,000 before anyone has eaten anything.

The Hendrix is at 1250 Texas Parkway in Stafford — 20 minutes from downtown, 10 from Sugar Land Town Square, 15 from the Galleria, and directly accessible from the Southwest Freeway. Parking is free, on site, and large enough for several hundred vehicles.

The four formats that work here

Conference or training day

Theatre seating for up to 350, or classroom layouts for smaller groups. A 3D video wall for slides, daytime slot from $2,500 in the Mansion and $1,200 in the Dome.

Awards dinner

Round tables for 300, a lectern and the video wall for the reel. Keep the programme under 40 minutes and the room stays with you.

Holiday party

Weeknights from $2,500 against $3,500 on a Saturday, and attendance is reliably higher midweek in December. More on that in our Christmas party guide.

Client reception

Standing, cocktail tables, grazing stations, 350 capacity. Nobody trapped in a seating plan next to one person all evening.

Why it matters that only one event runs at a time

For a corporate booking this is a practical point rather than a romantic one. It means the car park is yours, the entrance is yours, your branding is the only branding in the building, and there is no hard stop at 10pm because someone else needs the room in the morning.

It also means a confidential internal meeting stays confidential, which matters more to some of our clients than anything else on this page.

Corporate questions

Where are the corporate event venues in southwest Houston?

The Hendrix is at 1250 Texas Parkway in Stafford, 20 minutes from downtown Houston, 10 from Sugar Land Town Square and 15 from the Galleria, with direct access from the Southwest Freeway and free on-site parking.

How much does a corporate venue cost near Houston?

The Mansion starts at $2,500 for a weekday daytime or evening booking and $3,500 on a Saturday. The Dome is from $1,200 on any day. Add a cleaning fee, a refundable deposit, and a $300 security fee where alcohol is served or the event runs into the evening.

How many people can you seat for a conference?

Theatre seating for up to 350, or 300 at round tables for a dinner. A 3D video wall is available for slides and reels, and the same floor converts between the two layouts.

Is there a catering minimum or bar minimum?

No. There is no catering markup, no bar minimum, no service charge on your own suppliers and no per-head floor. Bring your own caterer and AV, or ask us for people who work here often.

Will another company be in the building at the same time?

No. Only one event runs at a time, so the car park, the entrance and the building are yours. For a confidential internal meeting that matters more than anything else on the page.

Is there free parking for a large corporate event?

Yes. Parking is free, on site, well lit and large enough for several hundred vehicles, which removes both the parking expense and the late arrivals that come with a downtown garage.
